NavLive is an advanced handheld LiDAR scanning solution that combines laser scanning technology with AI processing to generate precise building models instantly. The scanner captures millions of 3D points per second using LiDAR technology, along with high-resolution images from three onboard cameras. AI algorithms process this data in real-time to interpret architectural features (walls, doors, windows) and generate draft floor plans, elevations, and sections on the fly. The system achieves 10mm accuracy and is RICS-grade compliant. All processing occurs on-device through intelligent subsampling and real-time AI algorithms, enabling fast cloud sync and immediate availability of scans in the NavLive Portal. The platform supports direct Scan-to-BIM integration with tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Originally a PhD research project from Oxford University, NavLive is now deployed by architectural and construction firms in the UK and US.
